Saw this picture at Hermits place. I love the heck out of the AK platform. Everyone should own one. Come to think of it maybe I should get some extra mags.

I prefer the AR's ergonomics. I think one day I may get a .308 AR10 or something. The AK is mighty cool though! I agree more mags and mag pouches!
ammo... screw the mags, stack the ammo and components, mags are actually getting cheaper right now.
Wyn Boniface, The AK is definitely rough in every way including ergonomics. Didn't say I don't LOVE the AR platform. I just think it would be a good idea for everyone to have an AK with a case (or more) of ammo and a dozen mags regardless of what else they own.
I'm no rifle expert. I know the prone position, and the standing position. There is a kneeling position, and also a sitting position. But what position have these fellas assumed? Kind of looks like the little green army man of my youth... you know- the one with the rifle above his head. What do you call that position? Is that the 'suicide position'?

I've got two of the MAK90 AK rifles with Choate stocks. I've got an original Chinese Type 56, their copy of the AK. And I've got an RPK (semi-auto version, of course.) I like them all. Good, reliable weapons.
Humongous, I think that is gangster style probably of the Haitian subcategory.
Hermit, Seems like a nice collection of them. I would like to pick up another (maybe one of those nice Arsenal ones) if prices ever slip back towards the $400ish range. If not I suppose I can only shoot one at a time with any accuracy.

Humongous: It's a variant of the suicide stance. It's called the Somali "Get shot by Master Sergeant Gordon" Stance.
