Always take PHYSICAL DELIVERY! I take physical delivery (not to "their" warehouse) and so should you. If it is 1KG or just a little 1g bar (which anyone can afford:) take delivery so you can get it into your hot little hand if need be.
Russia backs return to Gold Standard. Not sure what I think about this whole international currency idea (methinks its a bad idea) but the reestablishment of a gold standard would be great.

I couldn't agree more on making sure you take physical control of your gold or silver etc.
Without it in your actual possession, you're not going to have access to it in a true emergency... just like you won't have access to cash from the banks, which is probably why you NEED the gold/silver!
Protect your investment and make sure you're getting what you paid for by making sure you're the one holding it.
I track prices and keep an eye out for deals at Bullion Market Watch (just b/c it lets me browse several marketplaces at once)
If those "little purties" don't get your pecker hard ...you are in deep shit!

Stephen, Doesn't quite get that reaction out of me but I sure do like them a lot. I believe Wifey would say they cause an especially odd twinkle in my eyes as I pass them through my hands.
