Rangerman or whoever is writing SHTF blog these days did a good albeit disturbing post on Mexico's response to the Swine Flu epidemic. I feel bad for Mexico, they really aren't catching any breaks these days.
I wish we had the easy going land of Taco's, big hats and great drinks back. While they aren't and will never be a serious danger to our nation their problems can complicate our lives for sure.

Especially if ten gazillion of them keep crossing the border and working here illegally. I read somewhere that 10% of the population of Mexico now lives illegally in the United States. That's what gripes me about hearing Calderon whining about "why don't you do something about guns coming down here." Why don't those sorry bastards do something about illegals coming up here?
Hermit, I fear the spread of this pandemic into the USA could be a definite secondary effect of our inability to secure our southern border.
