"We,again as gunny folk, know that there is no such think as a gun specifically designed to kill cops, for any gun could kill a cop. Hell, a baseball bat could kill a cop if you one hard enough, are we going to start calling them cop killing bats - yeah, didn't think so."
-Conservative Scalawag
“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.” — Robert A. Heinlein

You have to watch out for people doing those drive-by baseball battings. The preferred weapon for that is the aluminum cop-killer bats that have no sporting purpose.
I hear that drive-by bat attacks are almost as common as drive-by bayonettings - you know, the ones committed with cop-killer bayonets.
I don't know why we don't just make murder illegal and solve the whole problem.
I saw a number of editorials on news pages today touting the idea that since the police were armed and were not able to save themselves, the idea that being armed makes you safe is discredited. That's putting a polite spin on what was actually written. All you can do is scratch your head and wonder how some people can be so stupid. You can drown wearing a life jacket so let's just go ahead and get rid of all the life jackets, shall we?
Bitmap, They are clearly dangerous and should be banned or at least registered. Also it should be mandated that all sports now use wiffle ball bats to be safer.
Hermit, I don't have a clue. I do know that it is pretty hard to put a kitchen fire out without a fire extinguisher and it is just about impossible to shoot a goblin in the face if you don't have a gun.
The Sheeple who rant against private ownership and posession of firearms assert that we should depend upon trained police officers to protect us. How safe and secure do you feel knowing that many times the police cannot protect themselves?
