I just like to check in with my readers every so often. How do you think things are going here on the blog? Is there anything you would like to see here? Anything that has been going on recently which you haven't liked? I genuinely want your opinions on how you think things are going and where you would like to see them go.
While I cannot guarantee all suggestions will be implemented I can say that they will all be seriously considered. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I was liking the weekly "what did i do to prep" posts. just saying.
I'd like to see you recognize the emminent (sp?) collapse that is looming large, but that's just me ; ) PS, I've noticed a "major" change in your attitude since you switched from an "E" to an "O" (not for the better, pun intended). Again, that's just me....
The good: Overall it's one of the better blogs. I read it everyday. I love the wacky sense of humor that you have. Posting several times per day keeps me interested.
The bad: The downside is that there seems to be a lot of repetition - the same ideas hashed over and over again. A breath of fresh air is needed.
The suggestions: Can you talk some about women's issues? Not all preppers are male. Can Wifey have a special once a week post maybe? Also, when you talk about fitness can you keep in mind that some disabled people/older people may read your blog? I guess what I'm saying is that can you remember not all preppers are 27 years old and in top physical shape? Making the blog more "inclusive" would be a big help. Honest product reviews would be very cool. Are you allowed to blog about your military experiences? If you can then that would be interesting to hear about.
Overall, good blog. I give it an 8.5 out of 10. It definitely has the capability of being a 10 out of 10 blog.
Sam, still in the mobile home community
I like the blog. It is the only one I read on a daily basis. I like that it accepts that we aren't all going to prep the same way. For example, I have some major health problems and in a TEOTWAWKI situation I am probably not making it. Therefore my preps are based around a major disaster. While I could evacuate and move to my sister's in Idaho, I have planned around staying in place with major emphasis on food and water. I have a few firearms (and know how to use them) but they are for protection because I won't be hiking the hills hunting. I try to have several months of my medication and 2 to 4 months food and water. If things are bad much longer than that I am unlikely to be around.
How about some first hand reporting about what the Europeans are saying about the economy. You are likely the cannary in the coal mine across the pond.
I check your site every day, and generally find something of interest. This isn't your only gig. Considering you have a real job and a real life, I think you're doing a dandy job.
You need more quotes from Bison!
More gratuitous female nudity.
I think that you are one of the few survivalist who are active duty military.
You have a front door seat on all kinds of military products that we might want to buy, but don't really know if it's worth the cost. I think reviews of military equipment that is available on the civilian market would be helpful, especially if it focused on the potential of that item in a survival situation.
Also, some discussion of military tactics/defenses that survivalist could implement in a SHTF situation, i.e. convoy maneuver and security; discussions about what the Iraqi's and Afghans have done to make it more difficult for U.S. Forces to gain entry/control the population - and then again how the U.S. Forces overcame those obstacles and how these would apply to survivalist fending off the MZB's or JBT's.
You could also discuss some of the 'for public distribution' manuals that might be of use to survivalist or even post infantry type Battle Drills, re-written with a survivalist focus.
You would get a lot of publicity within the survivalist community, if you went through some of the FM's and ARTEP manuals and put together a .pdf booklet with 10-12 battle drills re-written from a survivalist perspective and gave it away to everyone as a downloadable link and sent the info to all the other survivalist blogs.
Ryan JG could focus on some of the current and historic cases that people have such misunderstandings about - Ruby Ridge, Waco, some of the current SWAT cases, gun sales, cases, and right to carry cases. I really enjoyed the 'don't talk to cops' videos he posted. More stuff like that from him.
Just found this site and immediately subscribed...I love your quotes! I agree with the comment referencing women and survivalism (is that even a word?!) Is your wife "in it" with you or are you doing all the prepping yourself?
