Exactly! Recently I saw some stats on gun violence from European and other nations that have strict or straight up gun bans. Of course they were naturally lower but what they weren't reporting were all the other types of violence, such as with knives, blunt objects, poisons, etc.
I'm of the opinion that there is always evil out there. If someone is going to kill someone, they are going to do it with whatever means they choose to do it with. Gun violence stems the illegal use of firearms that are frequently illegally attained or in the hands of violent people who shouldn't have had access to firearms to begin with.
I really hate all this mess that affects responsible gun owners.
