If you have none, a few expensive mags are better than none at all.If you have some, but would like more, waiting a few months, when that same pile of mags will be selling for far more reasonable prices, would seem to be a better solution. And if things get totally normal, putting CTD and LG to the bottom of your lists, down aroun the dust bunnies and dried cat turds, is probably a good idea.Ask the British folks who had ahold of S&W how shafting gun owners when they had the chance worked out for them before the stock dropped 75%. Gun people are not only frugal SOBs, but they have memories like elephants. Lucky Gunner is about to find out the truth of that, from the dirty end of the stick.
Gentlemen, If anybody is selling PMAGs (in stock not back order) at a significantly better price please let me know and I will link to it. The going rate in my AO is north of $50 a pop.CTD asked 2x as much for them.
How about 1000 rounds of 5.56 for $915!!!!
Prices are high right now all over. The days of $650 Smith and Wesson MP's, $11 PMAGs and $400 brass cased .223/1000 are gone. I hope they will be back in a few months but that doesn't change the situation right now.Unfortunately if one wants to get their hands on this very high demand stuff today they are going to pay a steep price. The choice to suck it up and pay the high prices or wait for things to (hopefully) cool down is a personal one. It should be based on your belief on how this will play out, overall 2A preparations and finances.A person might decide to buy a couple more mags if they are short but wait for the price of that spare AR and .223 ammo they want to come down because they do not NEED it right now.
Local gun store has them in stock for $30. Plenty for sale. Gunbroker sales I tracked Friday 2/15 had 10 lot going for approximately $26/mag including shipping.Maganzine prices are falling, don't get in a hurry.
